I was born and raised in Costa Rica and attended the University of Costa Rica. I have also attended Pacific Lutheran University, which is located in Tacoma, Washington. Because of my background, I am well-qualified to tutor Spanish at all levels.There are many aspects to learning a new language. Not only do students need to be able to read and write the language, but students also need to understand other aspects of the related culture. Sometimes a student can feel self-conscious when learning a new language. My goal is to help make students feel at ease in their sessions with me. My hope is that after learning about a new culture, students will view their world differently. Because of my wide range of experiences, I am able to use different methods of instruction to help my student stay engaged with the materials that we cover.In my free time, I like to run, read, and enjoy a coffee with friends.
